Sue Ellen Skime joined VAcorp in October 2024 and currently serves as an Account Representative. She began her career with the organization as a Customer Service Representative before moving into her current role and earning her Property and Casualty license in December 2025. Born and raised in Guatemala City to a Guatemalan mother and German father, Sue Ellen is fluent in Spanish, German, and English and holds a bachelor’s degree in arts and science. Her professional background includes roles in financial services, manufacturing, and aftermarket auto parts. She moved to the United States in 2012 and has lived in the Roanoke Valley since 2015, where she balances her work supporting members with her role as a wife and the proud mother of two daughters.
