Dear Members:

VACORP’s Board of Directors met this month and discussed the NCUA’s proposed changes to Part 704 – Corporate Credit Unions.  Due to the wide range of proposed changes and the significant impact they will have on both VACORP and its members, a decision was made to provide members the opportunity to join a Town Hall meeting in lieu of conducting only the previously scheduled teleconference calls.

The Town Hall Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, February 17th at the DoubleTree Hotel - Richmond Airport. It will start at 10:30 a.m. and end at noon. For those members who are unable to attend, a teleconference option will be available. Registration and additional meeting information will be sent in mid-January.

It is imperative that members are fully informed on this critical issue and essential that the VACORP Board receives your input on the future of the corporate.  Please mark your calendars now to attend this meeting, or if not possible, to join us via the teleconference call. Thank you.
